What every occasion here has in common

Whatever you are planning, four points are worth settling early: the date, the approximate head count, the start and clear-out times, and who the single point of contact is on the night — on your side and on the hall's. Settling those four in your first message saves a week of back and forth.

There is a fifth point specific to this venue: its Google Maps listing states that outside food is allowed. That is a real advantage if you want a particular caterer or a family kitchen, but it needs an agreement in advance about who prepares the food, when they get in, and how the dining hall is run. The hall keeps two shifts a day — 9:00 AM to 12:00 noon and 4:00 to 9:00 PM.
